Waterstream SRL was founded in Milan in 2023 as a spinoff of SimpleMatter SRL, a consulting company specialized in streaming technologies and big data. Our focus is on bridging the gap between IoT and streaming platforms through our innovative product, the Waterstream MQTT broker. This broker leverages Apache Kafka to provide a unique solution in the market.

In recognition of our potential, Waterstream was selected from a pool of 176 applicants to participate in the Digital Spectrum acceleration program by Digital Magics in 2023. Following our successful participation, we graduated as one of the 8 finalists in July 2023. This achievement marked an important milestone for us and resulted in an initial investment by DigitalMagics, backed by CDP Venture Capital.
